Well, that about sums up the News... Goodnight :o)
Sorry I forgot to mention this article...
On the 27th September, the US House of Representatives passed the Military Commissions Act by 253 votes to 168 and on 28th September, the Senate passed the Act by 65 votes to 34.
Goodnight again :o)
Oh sorry again, the US passed the Military Commissions Act... Whats that mean?
Well by passing the Military Commissions Act, the United States Congress has, in effect, given its stamp of approval to human rights violations committed by the USA in the "war on terror". This new legislation leaves the USA squarely on the wrong side of international law, and has turned bad executive policy into bad domestic law.
In the "war on terror" the US administration has resorted to secret detention, enforced disappearance, prolonged incommunicado detention, indefinite detention without charge, arbitrary detention, and torture or other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment.
Thousands of detainees remain in indefinite military detention in US custody in Iraq, Afghanistan and Guantanamo Bay. And now Congress has failed these detainees and their families. President George 'Thicky-Thicko' Bush has defended the CIA's use of secret detention and in the debates over the Military Commissions Act, members of Congress have done the same. This policy clearly violates the Geneva Convention.*
Goodnight again :o)
And if you are in any doubt at all about how wrong the new Act is; then the Amnesty International site is here to explain it for you (Ohhh... if your reading George and still can't figure out why most of the world hates America and why support for Al Qaeda in the Middle East is actually growing it might be worth a quick glance at you arrogant little shit!)... And if you still don't believe that the current US Administration aren't complete half whit's a reference guide to the Geneva Conventions and International law is here for you to check for yourself :o)
So then, that's a final Goodnight from myslef and thank you for watching :o)
The weather tomorrow will be Hot and Shitty :o)

ROTFL :) Love the 'War On Terror' quote.
Do you think it would be too hard to row a boat to your side of the pond? I need to get off this island.
Thanks for the *tragically true* laughs.
Take care,
Sublime
Sublime : If I thought for one moment that the society I live in would be a great improvement on yours, if it was considerably more tolerant, understanding and open minded then I'd row the boat over here for you! Alas I think you'd be disappointed.
My government is but a puppet to the US now...
