Buono, il brutto, il cattivo, Il ???


Another Motorbike Post.... Blah Blah Blah.... (Sorry!)

I recently wrote a Blog entry slating a certain motorcycle parts supplier (WeMoto), for what in my opinion was a complete farce in the delivery of a small order I'd placed. These comments subsequently found there way to a little debate on the XRV Motorbike forum, where it was argued that in fact, most people in part have received nothing but excellent service from them.

Now you could argue a good case that because I wasn't hounding them 24/7 and informing them of my dissatisfaction with their service levels, I might be to blame for receiving a less than 100% satisfactory service. You could argue that, and maybe your right to do so, but essentially I tend not to use this approach (maybe this is an Americanism), but I always vote with my wallet. If I'm not 100% satisfied with the service I just don't use them again, I lose short term, they lose long term, "Cash is King".

Well, unbeknown to me, somehow (And I'm guessing a little birdie at the XRV Org. snitched ;o) ), the Guys at WeMoto were alerted to my Blog entry, and just before Christmas, in the post arrived the balance of my order... Not only that but also Gratis, a complete 'Tubeless'* tyre repair kit and a little apologetic note for messing my order up.(*Eloisa uses Tubes!)

Ummm... Do I have to eat humble pie maybe? It would definitely appear that all the people on the Forum were right, these guys did care and they did try to rectify the position, when they were notified a problem existed. Maybe I'm just getting to cynical, in these days of mass consumer demand, I've become so accustomed to suppliers and shops trying to 'shaft' me one way or another I assume everyones trying to. This was a nice gesture from them, not expected nor required, just an honest gesture of apology. (Obviosuly that I hate, because now they've made me feel guilty because I might have been to hard on them... B'stards ;o) )

So there you have it... The Guys at WeMoto are fantastic, I'm a complete Tit and they will be recieving all my future motorcycle part orders... (And aswell as returning to my Christmas card List, I'm also nominating them for a Nobel Peace Prize!!! ;o) )

Very good to know there is good Customer Service out there (which you should always reward!!!)!!! It is hard not to be cynical in this day and age but I have to believe there are retailers out there that still care. Again, good for them on making the situation not only right but better!!!
