Eduro Riding (Bike Dropping!)

Boring Boring Boring...?

Yeah I know people, but last weeks adventure does deserve a little mention here, even if it does involve motorbikes... (But I'll keep it short ;o) )

Ok, no waffle... 4 Days 'Enduro' Riding in the Lake District... Much fun was had, though spending virtually a whole day standing on my pegs and picking my Bike up (when I dropped it, which I did frequently!), illustrated one thing to me... I'm not as young as used to be!!!

Anyways, in total sixty Africa Twin owners (which is probably about the total for the whole country!), turned up... Hard riding on and off road, hard drinking, hardcore... Had a complete Blast :o)

Injuries? Only to Eloisa :o( Rear brake FuBAR, which did mean riding a few hundred miles home without it... But it all adds to the fun :o)

Nothing to do with Motorbikes... Honest!

As requested by the Bognor Blade, this post has nothing to do with Motorbikes...

Thats right... I have the next two days booked off as Leave. So what I thought I'd do is just sit at home, do a little extreme house work (Naked Ironing), clip my toe nails (try to make it exciting as possible by using an 18inch carving knife), then maybe take the rubbish out. And when I've finished all my chores I'm planning just to Veg out in front of the TV with a beer and watch a really exciting game of football... :o/

Honestly...

I Am NOT heading off to the Lake District for a four day Enduro weekend on Eloisa...
I Am NOT going to be off roading, churning up Mountain tracks all day...
I Am NOT going to be in the Pub in the evening...
I Am NOT going to lie to you... Read my lips, there are WMD's located close to Kendal ;o)

Busy? Moi?

I confess, it's been nearly a week since my last Blog Entry... :o(

Why? Well 'cus I've been bloody busy thats why!! :o)

Working away from home for the next month or so by the looks of things... It's all go go go... Anyways I can't complain, having to 'Live it up' in nice Hotels etc. etc. etc.

Ohh and with the Holiday and being busy at work on returning, I've forgotten to pay my mobile phone bill. Ergo the nice people at 'Orange' have cut me off... I know, weak excuse but hey, WTF, I'm worth it :o)
